nMind 0.7c released!

nMind 0.7c

http://www.megaupload.com/?d=52RRVBJG

I rebuilt the libertas driver with the patches to fix the NetworkManager crash.
Suspend/Resume wireless works.
Mplayer-vaapi works.
oh yeah, I rewrote /usr/bin/dexconf. Now it will generate a proper xorg.conf with the touchscreen settings, and the pouslbo settings.
That means that I cut the time to build the liveiso down by 2 hours.

-note if nautilus-scripts are not working for you after install from live iso do the following:
Code:
cd ~/.gnome2/nautilus-scripts/

sudo chown -R root:root

They need root permissions to run.

Good Luck!
Next release may not be for a month or 2, if I do one.

  4. Having some trouble with the keyring. Its asks for a password, and nothing works. This is while trying to connect to a wifi SSID. Any suggestions?

  5. I'm not quite sure. I don't use an encrypted wireless connection.
Since this is pretty much just ubuntu netbook remix 9.04 you'll probably be able to find your answers on one of the forums.
On that note, I have never used the GPS on the clarion mind stock os. I don't get GPS signal where I am located. Not on a cellphone or anything. So I can't test and install GPS stuff for the distro.
If anyone gets this stuff working let me know, I'll add it into my list on the next ISO.

If it works let me know, I'll try to fix it in the next release.

  9. Great work! This could be the best OS for the Clarion Mind if I could figure out how the stop it from locking up every few minutes. Anyone have any ideas?
